19 Licensed Brazilian Teams Bagged For FIFA 14
FIFA14 is to feature almost twice as many Brazilian teams than last years 13 with 19 officially confirmed by EA Sports.
The top Brazilian league “Série A” will now have 18 clubs showcasing the kits, in-game players and authentic club crests respectively. EA have stated that the upcoming game will feature over 16,000 players, 600 football clubs and 30 top level leagues.
Additional leagues and club licenses are also set to be revealed by the developers over the course of the next couple of months too.
The FIFA franchise executive producer David Rutter in a statement said: “We’re very excited to bring the stars of the top Brazilian clubs into our games.”
He added: “For all our fans that support and love Brazilian football, this will only add to the authentic FIFA experience they enjoy, and the additional clubs will bring undiscovered players from Brazil into the FIFA Ultimate Team universe.”
EA also revealed earlier this week that this years PFA player of the year and Wales and Tottenham Hotspur Winger Gareth Bale will be the face of the UK edition of FIFA 14.
The number one football game is out on September 24th in North America, and the 27th in Europe for the current-gen consoles. The next-gen versions will be out at a later date in 2013.
