Liverpool FC Become Official FIFA 14 Partner

Liverpool football club are the latest team to become an official club partner of EA Sports FIFA 14. The partnership will run on a three-year deal which will start from the beginning of the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League season.

One of the benefits for Liverpool and their fans from this new deal, is that the fans will be able to play the upcoming footie game at selected fixtures at the clubs home ground Anfield throughout the long season.

The EA SPORTS Goal of the Month competition will see fans given the opportunity to upload some of their hottest goals scored from the latest installment, and be in with a chance of winning loads of fantastic prizes all season long.

Jamie McKinlay who’s the VP Marketing for EA SPORTS said: “We have over half a million registered LFC fans playing FIFA 13 and they all want to see authentic representation of their favourite Liverpool players in FIFA 14. We’re looking forward to delivering that authenticity, as well as a wide range of new and engaging initiatives for this historic club and its fans.”

The Chief Commercial Officer at Liverpool FC Billy Hogan also added: “We are thrilled to have EA SPORTS, one of the world’s leading sports entertainment brands, as our new partner. We know that so many of our Liverpool family, including fans and players, play EA SPORTS FIFA regularly so this new partnership will help bring the Club closer to our fans in innovative new ways.”

Loads of 360 degree 3D digital head scans have been captured of the LFC squad, leading up to the forthcoming season ahead. The incredible stunning accurate visuals include players like Jordan Henderson, Martin Skrtel, Steven Gerrard, Daniel Agger, Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge.

There will be loads of bonus content for LFC fans as well, including behind-the-scenes images, a customized Liverpool FC front cover of the game that’s free to download, wallpapers and match simulations.

FIFA 14 will be out on Sept 24 in North America, and the rest of the world on the 27th for the PS3, PC, Xbox 360, Wii U and the next-gen versions will be out later this year.
