EA Sports Sign-up Gary Neville For FUT 14
EA Sports have announced that Manchester United Legend Gary Neville has signed up to be the FIFA Ultimate Team ambassador for the whole of the 2013/2014 season. Gary will now host a unique fortnightly column, on the official EA Sports website as part of his new role.
The ex-England International and current SkySports pundit will be discussing all of the hot topics from the Barclay’s Premier League as well as discuss the in-form teams and players for each week. Starting this week, Neville wrote in his new column that he suspects Southampton left-back Luke Shaw has a very bright future ahead of him and thinks the boy is a very special talent.
Neville will also be featuring in this years installment in the form of a legend for the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team Legends mode that’s been implemented this season. He’s joined alongside such great players including Pele, Maradona, Marcel Desailly, and Dennis Bergkamp.
Still pleased with the news, Neville said:
FIFA has become such an integral part of football culture that I hope to bring benefit to the fans.
FUT really is a phenomenal success and you can see why as we all like to think we can manage an Ultimate Team of superstars.
I can’t wait to see myself out on the (digital) pitch again.
The new season for the FUT will see new chemistry styles and a one-time transfer from the current-gen consoles to the new ones. The game’s available as a completely free digital download for all Xbox One pre-order customers whilst the stocks last.
The footie simulator launches on September 24th in North America, and September 27th worldwide just a few days later. It’ll be arriving on the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, iOS, 3DS, Wii, PC, PS Vita and PlayStation Portable. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will be out at console launch day. The mobile versions are a free-to-play module as well.
