FUT 15 January Upgrades: IF Player Trading Tips

So with the January upgrades coming soon on FUT 15, we thought we’d give out some trading tips so that you can make the most profit and get a nice stack of coins ready to buy some of your dream players that you couldn’t afford before. Take a look at the HD video that explains the trading methods in-depth and learn how to make thousands of coins when the player upgrades arrive.

What some of you may not know, is the normal cards get updated and increased in overall rating when EA choose specific players at the end of January. The developers won’t be upgrading absolutely everyone, but instead a little handful of players who they felt deserved to have their rating increased due to their terrific performances for the clubs since the start of this season up until now.

Whilst the regular items get an upgrade, you’ll keep the same card with the same overall as you once did. You’ll have to pack the new card with the brand new rating if you want to acquire it for your squad. Where our trading tips come in is all of the IFS also get upgraded but the twist is that you don’t have to go out and buy that item again as it’s impossible.

Think about it, if a player gets an IF (in-form) from a specific TOTW, then that card is only available to the public to pack for 7 days and then it’s not available to anyone after that period has ended. You literally have 7 days or else you have got to buy it outright from the transfer market from the auction rooms.

This is how EA cannot do anything other than upgrade your IF or SIF card. In regards to the tips we give out it’s best to buy (or if you already have) keep your SIF (second in-form) players as they’re the ones that are more than likely to be given a boost. The other plus side to this as well is that they will go up dramatically in value and that can only mean more profit for you.

We’ve outlined some of the key players who we’re predicting that EA will give a slight boost to in January, note though that this is just an estimate and is not the final list.

  • Alexandre Lacazette
  • Carlos Tevez
  • Antoine Griezmann
  • Naldo
  • Oscar
  • Alexis Sánchez
  • Nicolás Otamendi

Of course you can take a few risks and go into the market and buy as many SIF players as you want in the hope that they go up in rating. If they don’t then all you have to do is put them back up for sale in the auction rooms and you should recuperate some of the coins you invested in the first place.

  • Hi when you say you have to pack you card to get the new rating wot do you mean by pack them thanks

  • Geef mij messi en rondo en neur
    Ik heet Dimigamer

  • Will the other player’s prices drop when upgrades come? I was just wondering that should I sell my time now and build it again after upgrades.
