After a disappointing World Cup campaign for the entire country of Brazil, there’s yet more bad news on the horizon for Brazilian football fans around the world. EA Sports have officially confirmed that there will be no Brazilian domestic leagues added to FIFA 15 this year.
The developers were unable to come to a mutual agreement with the Brazilian rights holders after long negotiating was taking place over the course of this year. Although the top Brazilian leagues will be unlicensed, the national Brazil team and all the top Brazilian players around the world playing in the top leagues in and around Europe will still be licensed though.
It’s not all bad though as EA are set to make some really big announcements at GamesCom 2014 this month in Germany. We have good reason to believe that there’s going to be a massive Ultimate Team reveal involved so keep your eyes peeled for that and we’ll keep you updated as always.
