Javier Chicharito Hernandez

EA Sports have officially unveiled Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez as the superstar that will join Lionel Messi on the front cover of the North American version of FIFA 14. EA tweeted a teaser tweet earlier in the day that said of their intention to reveal the star the exact same night.

This is the first officially confirmed footballer to be named on the front cover of any region. More are expected to be named in the future as various players represent different regions of the world.

The game will be heading your way on September 24th in NA, and September 27th in Europe for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The PS4 and Xbox One next-gen platforms will get an edition in the new year.
