In the past couple of days, retired legendary footballer Ruud Van Nistelrooy has been busy doing some important PR work. This activity included the announcement by EA of the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Netherlands striker joining the Ultimate Team Legends roster.
An unexpected press conference hosted by Microsoft and Electronic Arts which can be viewed below, saw Van Nistelrooy start off the event by announcing that he plans on making a return to the beautiful game, but in a virtual form. He revealed that he’s joining the ever growing list of players that are part of the popular FUT Legends game mode for FIFA 14.
The video was uploaded by the official Xbox UK YouTube account on February 14th (Valentines Day) and the inclusion will make Ruud one of the most valuable, rarest and desirable players on the entire game. Gamers can acquire the Dutch supremo by visiting the Play Like A Legend page and completing the four set challenges.
The bonus is so far only available in the UK, Spain, Germany and France at this moment in time, but more country’s are sure to become involved in the future. Van Nistelrooy tweeted the news via his personal account on social networking website Twitter on the same day which can be seen below.
